She is married to DJ and they live in a beautiful home in Lake Geneva, Wisconsin, where they moved to from Green Garden township several years ago. She brings peace, wisdom, order & a committed heart to our organization and it's mission.

She was our first "donor housing" volunteer and has served faithfully for 6 years providing a safe shelter to 3 of our clients. She truly has servant's heart for Jesus and, a hearty and contagious laugh that has been such a blessing to us as we have done ministry together!

Meet Rachael Smedberg. Rachael was called to be part of Journey and volunteered faithfully in our shop & as a Journey Guide to several clients the first few years until she had her precious twins. Even when she couldn't be at Journey - Rachael & her husband Jesse supported us at all our events with their little family in tow. If we ever need anything - Rachael makes it happen or finds a way to make it come together. Her great faith is contagious and a gift.
